Ghee Bhat

05:00

Ghee Bhat is a signature Bengali style rice dish that can be served with any veg or non vegetarian side dish. However we preferred this rice as such and did not really feel like need of any curry to pair with.

I am an ardent fan of rice based dishes specially the one pot meals. This is a very simple and delicious rice dish. The addition of ghee that makes it more rich and divine.Normally Gobindhobhog rice are used to make Bengali pulao and rice dishes as I couldn't find them I used Royal Basmati rice.I am telling you guys when I made all these simple yet flavorsome Bengali recipes for the series ,I totally fell in love with each one of them.
