Cranberry Sauce


Last week when I made the cornbread I also made a cranberry sauce to go with it.The sauce paired best with the cake and enhanced the flavors more.This sauce was very easy to make with only three ingredients needed.

I let my syrup on the same cooktop burner and forgot to remove it,and so it was a little over cooked  more thick.Next day I boiled it again with some water and sugar and bingo it was fresh and syrupy again.

Dish-Cranberry Sauce
Source-Cooking Light

1 cup cranberries ,fresh or frozen
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup sugar or to taste

In a sauce pan add cranberries,apple cider and sugar.
Bring to boil and then simmer to cook for 20 to 30 minutes until syrupy or saucy.
Cool and store in refrigerator.


Serve-1 cup Cooking time-30 minutes
