Murmura Chivda |Puffed Rice Mixture

17:55

Diwali is around the corner and I am sure everyone is busy with the preparation either cleaning ,decorating or cooking.I am also trying a few recipes for Diwali that I have had bookmarked for ages but never tried. One such recipe is the simpler and healthy snack mixture Murmura Chivda .

Murmura is nothing but the puffed rice and is commonly used in India all around the year.In childhood,we used to distribute the murmura with some Batasha and Sweets on Diwali to the neighborhood after finishing the Pooja and all. That'ts how I remember eating murmura but I have never cooked or made any dish with it before except Bhel Puri and Jhal Muri. After seeing this chivda on the blogging world I also wanted to try .So yesterday I did made this effortless snack and since then we all are eating it like crazy. With evening tea as mid morning snack , just say what not but we are munching on.
