Baked Potato Wedges

The second day of cooking bookmarked recipes begins with presenting the famous and simple baked potato wedges.While looking for the recipes I found this one and fell in love with the pictures.I knew I had to try them soon .The interesting thing was the addition of garlic powder as it gave a nice twist to the potato wedges.My family loved these garlicky ,smoky and spicy potato wedges a lot .Since then I made it many times in my kitchen or I can say it has become a family favorite now.




So if you want to try the baked version of potato wedges , do try this and I am sure you will also fall in love with them as I did.

Ingredients:
4-5 potatoes ,medium sized
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
kosher salt to taste
peppercorn powder to taste


Method:
Preheat oven at 200 degree Celsius.
Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.
In a mixing bowl add potato wedges.Sprinkle olive oil,paprika,garlic powder,salt and peppercorn powder.Give a nice stir until combined.
Grease a baking tray with oil.Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer.
Bake for 25 to 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Remove from oven and serve with favorite dipping sauce.
