For the last day of presenting dishes from Food 52 ,I made this healthy,delicious and tempting smoothie.Frankly speaking, I had totally forgot to cook the third recipe and when I noticed it was too late to cook something as we are fasting.
I went through the recipes a couple of times to find a suitable recipe that we can make even fasting.So I filtered the search under fruits and after a lot of searching found this smoothie recipe.This appeared doable and effortless and fasting friendly as well.
My daughter liked the taste of this smoothie while I felt it was a little sour.I think my yogurt was the cause of sourness as it was a day old.Next time I will try with some sugar to make it more tastier.The pomegranate pearls that I used for garnishing sunk deep down in the smoothie while I was clicking.Funny huh !

Dish-Triple Pomegranate Smoothie
1 cup blueberries,frozen or fresh
1/2 cup yogurt,plain
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
2 teaspoon pomegranate molasses(optional)
few mint leaves
1 tablespoon pomegranate pearls,plus more for garnish
Blend all ingredients together until you get your desired consistency.
Garnish with mint leaves and pomegranate pearls.
Serve-2 Prep time-10 minutes
