The second day of cooking bookmarked recipes begins with presenting the famous and simple baked potato wedges. While looking for the recipes I found this one and fell in love with the pictures.I knew I had to try them soon .The interesting thing was the addition of garlic powder as it gave a nice twist to the potato wedges. My family loved these garlicky ,smoky and spicy potato wedges a lot .Since then I made it many times in my kitchen or I can say it has become a family favorite now.
We are in the last week of BM#58 and as usual, my theme for the end week is Bookmarked recipes. If I scroll down my bookmarks ,the list is endless and obviously I need to clear it up soon before it ends up to infinity.
One of the bookmark recipe is Bedmi Poori Aloo sabzi that I made for last Buffet on Table for Combo dishes, but ended up without posting it.The day I prepared bedmi aloo,we had lots of guests coming for dinner and I took the pictures in a hurry.I was not happy with the clicks so opted not to post this for combo dishes.
For the last day of tea time snacks I made saltine crackers canapes with potato and peas filling. When you talk about canapes ,there are many ways to assemble with different type of topping. But somehow we love this Indian style topping the best. These are super easy to make and make a great appetizer for parties or get together.
We are in the third week of BM#58 and my theme for the week is tea time snack. We,I mean my family, have this weird habit of having tea in the evening with some snacks .I mean,if there is no snack with tea it would be almost impossible to drop down the tea under the throat.Normally the snacks are store bought biscuit ,different types of namkeen aka sev ,rusk or puff pastry squares. But on some weekends or whenever I feel like energetic then I would make something different like pakoras, etc.
