Basbousa: A sweet melt in mouth kind traditional Middle Easteren sweet semolina cake. Basbousa similar to Turkish Revani is also made with baking semolina or cream of wheat farina and topped with simple sugar syrup or sometimes flavored with rose water and other flavorings if desired.
Candy Apples: Chewy candy outside and soft juicy apple inside who can resist these beautiful and delicious candy apples. I bet I won't. This week I will be posting candies recipes for the 71st edition of Blogging Marathon's first week. Candies happen to be everyone's favourite either kid or adults? This is so much fun and even Mr Husband sometimes joins us and we all would enjoy eating candies while watching kids programmes on TV.
Nutcracker Sweet Tea Cake inspired from Celestial Seasonings with flavours of nutty vanilla and hint of cinnamon. Fall is already here and let me tell you that I love everything about this season. It also gives a sense of happiness as we are getting closer to Christmas. So what could be better than a flavourful and delicious cake to enjoy the season?
Chawal ki roti: A tasty and healthy roti made with leftover rice and some spices. The last day of posting recipes made on tawa ends with this simple yet delicious chawal ki roti. I have adapted the recipe from here and used my last night leftover rice to a pretty good use.
